The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at the University of Karachi is offering job opportunities for various positions including Accountants, IPR Coordinator, Junior Technical Trainees, and Plumber.
The Accountant position requires a Commerce graduate Finalist/ACCA from an HEC recognized university/institution with Article ship completed/M.Com./MBA(Finance/ICMA) in good grades. The candidate must have strong mathematical skills and knowledge of national and regional laws on payroll and taxes and command in Advance Excel, working in ERP system. The candidate must have 3-5 years working experience in accounts and finance department. The responsibilities of the Accountant include issuing employee payments considering deductions and withholdings, preparing payroll schedules, maintaining fixed assets register and knowledge in taxation.
The IPR Coordinator position requires an M.Sc/MS from an HEC recognized university/institution with at least one year working experience as an administrative coordinator in a reputable public/private sector organization. The candidate must have good verbal and communication skills, computer skills, and MS Office.
The Junior Technical Trainee position requires a BS degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry from an HEC recognized university/institution. Some hands-on experience on operation of analytical instruments or work in pathology, food and chemical testing labs will be preferred.
The Plumber position requires a matriculation certificate with 3-5 years of experience in plumbing in a reputable public/private sector organization. Preference will be given to candidates having a certificate in plumbing.
