Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), a leading public sector power utility, supplies electricity to more than 6.04 million consumers with about 20 thousand employees. LESCO is seeking to hire the services of a high caliber and dynamic professional with relevant experience for the position of Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO). This position is directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the development and implementation of information technology solutions that are enabling to the achievement of Company"s Business Objectives, increase efficiency, and improve the Customer Experience. The major responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive information technology policy and strategy that supports LESCO"s objectives and goals, providing IT support to ERP and other digital automation technologies, working with other directorates of LESCO to integrate technology into their operations and processes, ensuring the security and availability of information systems and data, including implementing cybersecurity measures, managing the IT budget and allocating resources effectively to support the effective delivery of technology initiatives, maintaining a close liaison with PITC and any other vendors for deployment and development of applications designed and developed by them. The academic qualification required is Masters/Bachelor"s (Hons) Degree or any other equivalent qualification in the field of Computer Sciences Information Technology/ Software Engineering equivalent to 16 years of education from HEC recognized University/Institution.
