Utopia is hiring for the position of Manager - Compliance and Sustainability at their head office located at Plot Z85, SITE Phase 2, M-9, Phase 2, Karachi, Sindh 75850. The responsibilities of this position include developing and implementing compliance strategies for product manufacturing certifications, ensuring that all products meet regulatory and certification requirements. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development engineering, quality, and regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. They will conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans. The incumbent will manage and maintain all necessary certifications and licenses required for product manufacturing, including FDA, CE, ISO, Oeko-tex, BSCI and other Home textile related products. They will stay current with regulatory changes and ensure that the company remains compliant with all applicable regulations. The incumbent should have a minimum Bachelor"s degree in engineering, business or related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance management in product manufacturing. They should have strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards including FDA, CE and ISO, Oeko-tex, BSCI and other Home textile related products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also required.
