Engro is hiring for the position of Deputy Manager - Operations. The ideal candidate should be a Mining Engineer with 7 to 9 years of experience in the mining industry. The overall responsibilities of the position include assisting in safety systems implementation within the department, coordinating with the O&M & EPC-02 Contractor for safe execution of operations, and assisting in coal handling system operations. Other responsibilities include handling weighbridge operations, managing coal transportation end to end, ensuring legal compliance, coordinating with Diesel supply Contractors for supply of fuel to Mining Powergen & Shell pump, ensuring compliance of company's HSE regulations and Policies, ensuring effective dewatering operations and availability of water wells, ensuring installation of Surface & underground water wells monitoring, ensuring effective RO and buffer/fire water network water operations, playing the role of Operation Manager in his absence, supervising production team to manage and execute production process, coordinating with EPTL & contractors, organizing job trainings to team members to achieve production goals, investigating operation issues and developing resolutions and taking initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
